IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT THE SCIENCE;
IT'S ABOUT THE ART OF THE SCIENCE.
After twenty years of working in the Hollywood skincare business with actors, singers, and people who could afford the best treatments money could buy, I decided it was time to share my experience in a way that could be beneficial to anyone – and affordable, too. We use the most effective noninvasive technology combined with the best skincare products to create individualized treatments tailored just for you. At Spa Blu, every client will get access to our knowledge base of skincare sought after by the people you go to the movies to see or watch on television. Our goal is to create an environment in which your skin can flourish!
YOU ONLY GET ONE SKIN.
Your part is caring enough about your skin to make it part of your lifestyle. We wouldn't expect to wear the same pair of shoes for our entire lives, yet some of us are happy to spend more on a pair of shoes than pay attention to our skin. You can always buy a new pair of shoes, but you’re only born with one skin. We work with our clients to care properly for their skin and still afford nice shoes! - Rebecca
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE RESULTS
REBECCA, FOUNDER
Rebecca’s passion for skincare aesthetics was evident as a young girl when she made it her mission to alleviate the suffering her older sisters endured from acne by mixing ingredients found in their garden and kitchen. She creatively experimented with herbs and vegetables concocting everything from avocado-oatmeal masques to herbal lotions.
Being a trained performer in classical ballet and musical theatre, her skincare expertise was soon discovered by fellow actors and dancers alike. Mixing dance and skincare continued when she settled in Los Angeles and became a makeup artist for Revlon, New Woman Magazine and became an account executive for Frances Denney Cosmetics.
Less than a year later, the legendary Aida Grey (skincare adviser to Hollywood stars, Marilyn Monroe and Ingrid Bergman) accepted Rebecca into her renowned Institute de Beauté. Because of her discreet, intuitive nurturing and skill in treating a variety of skin conditions, she attracted top entertainment industry clientele. She went on to become the spa director of an exclusive Los Angeles spa, catering to entertainment personalities.
After Rebecca and her family moved from Santa Monica to the Chattanooga area, she decided to open her own day spa, bringing the best of Hollywood skincare to her new boutique, Spa Blu.
Always staying on the aesthetics leading edge, Rebecca’s real goal was discovering good science that actually improves skin quality.
Today, Rebecca is the only aesthetician in the U.S. fully trained and certified in the science of true Oxygen Infusion with micro-channeling. This proven and accepted methodology from Italy creates amazing new results in skincare rejuvenation and beauty. She still combines her 30+ years of experience with an evaluative and thoughtful approach that enables clients to receive individualized treatments appropriate for their skin.

ELLIE BOYD, AESTHETICIAN
Like many in the skincare field, Ellie’s journey with skin health started from a struggle to heal her own skin. At just 15, she developed severe acne: cysts, oily skin, clogged pores, sensitivity, you name it.
She feels incredibly fortunate to be working at Spa Blu for their focus on the medical grade treatments, peels, and products.
She is always learning and thinks it is crucial to be evolving and open to new information. Ellie loves to listen to other professionals in the skin care industry to keep up with new treatments and educate herself and clients with their specific skin goals. She enjoys having an ongoing relationship with her clients and helping them empower themselves to treat their skin properly outside of treatments.
